For this project we are establishing the Fair Tech Forum: a community that provides an online forum, regular newsletters, on- and offline meetings, and shared resources on for fair or ethical IT businesses and non-profits.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Reviews of places<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

OpenStreetmap is a wonderful open data platform for geo data. However, one data category is glaringly missing from it: reviews of places, like people are used in mainstream maps apps. For this project, we are developing this function.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Open info about products<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Consumers require honest and transparent information about the products they wish to buy, specifically when it concerns social, ethical and sustainable products. For this project, we are building a database of open information about consumer products, using a wiki-model, for use by product comparison platforms. <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
